Studying an MBA

Accounting and finance

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) accredit many taught master’s programmes. Research projects can cover corporate accountability, financial econometrics, financial analysis, financial management in the public sector, financial theory and history, and international accounting.


Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing is a well-regarded professional qualification for marketing practitioners. Holders of this diploma are entitled to use the letters ‘DipM ACIM’ after their name and are eligible to begin working towards Chartered Marketer status. Other non-accredited master’s and postgraduate diplomas specialise in certain areas of marketing relating to specific industries or service sectors.
